Vehicle congestion was identified as a problem in the 1980's in Nottingham and was tackled by developing a tram network which recorded 14.9 million passenger journeys in 2023.

The mobile responsive ecommerce website was developed for a vehicle hire premises located yards from the exit of the northernmost tram stop of the Nottingham Network at Hucknall Station.
Hucknall is also a main line railway station going northbound to Worksop and southbound to Nottingham with train services operated by East Midlands Railway and is just a 5 mile car journey from either Junction 26 or 27 of the M1.
Coupled with an adjacent Park and Ride facility and facing a Tesco Extra Superstore, it is a highly visible location.
Customers can take the tram from any one of 50 tram stops in the Nottingham network, and get off at the Hucknall rail and tram station and walk, just yards, to pick up their hire car, van, minibus, crew van or truck from the Notts Vehicle Hire Depot.
No need to get a lift from a family member or friend to drop you off.
Then again, you could just get the vehicle delivered to your door.
Automated Booking Process
The website processes bookings, validates ID and driving licence submissions per vehicle category.
It handles customer registration, acceptance of terms, online customer support chats, the payment gateway.
Collect and Return to depot or Vehicle delivery & Collection
Customers have the option to collect and return vehicles to the vehicle hire depot or have them delivered and collected to the location/s of their choice be it business, home, airport or nominated destination.
Automated and Custom Communications
Invoicing and Pre and post vehicle rental communications are automated with optional categorised custom messaging available.

Business customers can opt to use their own Fleet / company insurance
